finally...

Finally, my 1 week of AI tour is over le. I'm offically on my leave waiting for 17 oct to come and i will be ready to receive my pink IC. The 1 week of AI so damn tiring, i had a taste of what the life of being a commander, man it ain't nice to enjoy especially if you are taking a new batch of recuites.

You will find yourselves repeating your words over and over again, endless shouting to them, making yourselves to be the bad guy, punished them when they are wrong hoping they will not repeat the mistake again. Not forgetting to sweet talk to them at night before they sleep and patrol the bunk area to make sure they are sleeping and none of them are AWOL. And when all this ended, you will find yourselves sleeping at 12+ only having to wake up at 5.

Looking at them, i saw the old me, making silly mistake over and over again. Pushing myself to the limit in the training, pushing and giving each other in the platoon to endure through the tough training. To me, they ain't recuites to me, they are just like my brothers who are going through my footsteps, taking over my role in protecting the country. Is tiring, however on my last day, i do find myself missing some of them. In fact when talking to some of them, bring back my memories, made my emotions run wild. In fact, i even lend one of the recuite my handphone so he could call his girlfriend at night.

I do miss them.. i guess maybe i will head back next week to accompany them book out...
